The 6th Sail In Festival features the work of the sailing world’s most celebrated photographer.
So much beauty exposed. In the world of international sailing photography, when you publish the work of Italian photographer Carlo Borlenghi, you are pairing up with the best. Here is just a taste of the outstanding exhibition that will go on show during Bilbao’s sixth consecutive, action-packed SAIL IN Festival, an unmissable event that has won the unwavering support of the sailing community for the quality of its work in the promotion of sailing.
The SAIL IN Festival will be back in Bilbao from March 7 to 10 for four days of films, talks, exhibitions, and master classes, as well as a chance to meet and chat with some of the big names in sailing.
This year, for example, the guest photographer at the festival is Borlenghi. His work will be displayed in different formats and in different locations around the city, including the metro stations, turning the bowels of the earth into views of the sea.
Official photographer for Rolex, the America’s Cup and other major regattas and ocean races, Carlo Borlenghi is a tamer of nature. It’s as if it posed for him. In the fast-moving, hostile environment of yachts, sea, and sailors, Borlenghi strikes gold, every time. Light, texture, timing, the sea proposes but Carlo disposes.
